The ’80s Revival Clearly Went Wrong…
Shocks me I can post a song as good as Hüsker Dü’s ‘Real World’ and 12 hours later I don’t reckon it’s been played once. What’s wrong with you kids…?

“This picture — hilarious, if quintessential — was taken by the late Naomi Petersen in 1983.
Petersen, who died in 2005, was the staff photographer for SST records in the early and mid 1980s. She is responsible for many of Husker Du’s early press photos.
She also took the photo used for the cover of Husker Du’s famous EIGHT MILES HIGH single, released in May, 1984.
Left to Right: Greg Norton, Bob Mould, Grant Hart.
This was around the time of the METAL CIRCUS album. I think Bob’s fly is down. And Greg’s shorts…. funny how * he * was the straight member of the band.”
